Doula services include 24/7 texting, 3 prenatal appointments, birth and one home visit. Breastfeeding support also an option.

A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to individuals and families during pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. Unlike medical professionals, such as doctors or midwives, a doula's role is focused on offering continuous, personalized care and guidance to help make the birth experience as positive and empowering as possible.

During Pregnancy: A doula offers support through education and emotional reassurance, helping expectant parents understand their options and prepare for childbirth. They can provide resources on birth plans, discuss pain management techniques, and answer questions to ease any concerns.

During Labor: In the birthing room, a doula acts as a constant presence, providing comfort and support through various techniques such as breathing exercises, massage, and positioning. They help facilitate communication between the birthing person and medical staff, ensuring that the birthing person's preferences are respected and that they feel supported throughout the process.

During the Postpartum Period: After the birth, a doula can assist with the transition to parenthood by offering guidance on infant care, breastfeeding support, and emotional adjustment. They may provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, or help with sibling adjustment to ease the family’s transition.

Overall, a doula's role is to enhance the birth experience by offering compassionate, non-medical support tailored to the needs and preferences of the individual or family, helping to create a nurturing and supportive environment throughout the journey of childbirth.
